On Thursday October 12th, the Bellingham High School varsity volleyball team played against Lynden Christian High School at BHS. The first set ended at 25-23, securing a win for the Bayhawks. The second set saw the Bayhawks’ victory with a score of 25-22, and the third set was a loss for the Bayhawks: ending with a 19-25 score. Finally, the Bayhawks ended strong with a 25-15 point victory in the final set. This secured an overall win for BHS.

Skyla Otto is one of the founders of Bellingham High School's student run newspaper, the Bayhawk Bearer. She and Jones Walther began planning for the paper in 2021 during their Sophomore year, and when it took off in their Junior year, both of them took up the mantle of Co-Editor in Chief.
