Girls’ Wrestling

Led by Coach Porteous, the Squalicum, Sehome, and Bellingham High School combined girls’ wrestling team came together to create a dedicated and supportive environment. Competing against schools like Blaine, Othello, Quincy, and Burlington-Edison High Schools, they had a wide variety of opponents to compete with in order to grow their skills.

Unified Basketball

Unified basketball at BHS is always a great time. During each unified game, there is little emphasis on competition—instead, every game has a supportive environment so there are no true winners or losers. One of the biggest yearly events, the Unified Bellinghome Battle, saw a huge turnout this year. The competition takes place between Sehome and Bellingham and, though usually rivals, this big event always brings them closer together.
