Since 2022 the Stranger Things fans have been waiting with bated breath for the release of the fifth and final season. High schoolers are a large audience of the exciting horror series so talk is abuzz at Bellingham High. On November 26th , Volume One was released which included four episodes. These four episodes laid the groundwork for the most exciting season yet.
Episode four left all superfans waiting with bated breath for Christmas. This year, Christmas has a new meaning- not only is it the time to spend with family, eat cookies, or maybe make a list for Santa, it’s the day that Volume Two will get released. Volume Two of Stranger Things season five includes three episodes that WILL hopefully give us more answers than questions. True fans will understand my play on words.
So folks, when Christmas rolls around ditch the last minute shopping and the roasting chestnuts on an open fire and instead cuddle up with your Stranger Things bestie, get a bowl of popcorn and binge the next three episodes of the long awaited installment!
This brings me to the bittersweet moment where Stranger Things will eventually end. On New Year’s Eve, there will be the grand finale. The final episode of the final season will air 5pm PST December 31st, so mark your calendars for the epic showdown between the Hawkins gang and the monsters of the Upside Down. There has also been a new development; there will be screenings of the finale in select theatres.
The final episode has a run time of roughly two hours and thirty minutes making it the length of a movie. It is showing in Seattle, so my superfans out there, are you going to secure your tickets or stay in the comfort of your own living room while the horror of the finale unfolds?
