This fall the Bellingham High School drama department will be performing Puffs, or seven increasingly eventful years at a certain school of magic.
Despite the play being a parody, “it’s its own entity, it’s own world, it’s own strange story,” says Kelsey Glasgow, Theater Director.
Performances are on November 9th-11th and 16th-18th at 7:00 pm, and on November 11th and 18th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $10 dollars general admission and are sold at the door.
Last week was Tech Week for the drama department, which means that all the pieces of the play are finally coming together. The actors, costumers, set designers, and theater technicians start combining everything they worked on independently and the play begins to take shape.
Many of the performers will be playing multiple roles, so the chance to practice with costumes and costume changes is imperative to the success of the show.
“Some of them have ten seconds to change into a different costume,” says Glasgow.
Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will be going to the BHS GSA to help fund their 2023-2024 activities.
